Butyric acid

Unlike in whitefish fishing, butyric acid is still a relatively unknown product in the carp fishing world. Butyric acid is available in various grades and concentrations. For a select group of carp anglers, this is a tool they can no longer do without.
Despite its pungent, strong odor, which is reminiscent of cheese, it has a tremendous appeal to fish. Butyric acid is highly concentrated, so use it sparingly—and just as importantly
—avoid spilling it on your hands or clothes; before you know it, people will be giving you a wide berth.
- Dosage: 2–3 ml per 1 kg of dry mix
